Merci Beaucoup Cafe

Second time here. Good food but in the pricier side. signature pho $19 Large looks like a small size at other restaurants. Broth was flavourful. beef stew banh mi $18 Flavourful and tender meat Banh mi was steamed. Rather have it toasted and crunchy though Wings $19 Pricy for what you get. Prefer Phnom Penh wi head more flavourful.

Update: The lemongrass chicken bowl is quite delicious and the staff are very friendly. Came here on a weekend afternoon, service was great! The lemongrass bowl was very hardy and tasty. My friend ordered the vegetarian pho and it was quite good too. Very excellent Vietnamese restaurant on the drive in Vancouver. Will come back again! We had the beef pho and a banh mi. I found the place to be very family oriented, clean and small. It is a simple place to get delicious Vietnamese cuisine and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the commercial drive area. Very friendly staff and good vibes, this place deserves more traction.

Food is really yummy and the boss are supper friendly! Happy to support the neighbours small business! Enjoyed their egg Vietnamese coffee which is very interesting but supper sweet though

Found this restaurant in Vancouver magazine. The atmosphere is very cosy and slightly reminiscent of a French café. Service is very friendly and attentive, and the jasmine tea is excellent. Had the lemongrass banh mi and the shrimp spring rolls which were both really tasty.

Stopped by Merci Beaucoup and really enjoyed everything here. • Beef stew bánh mì: caught me a little by surprise because it had a flavor closer to phá lấu (Vietnamese offal stew), which is different from the beef stews I usually have or make at home. But I actually love phá lấu too, so it worked out. It was still a very comforting dish. • Vietnamese-style rice noodle: was also pretty solid with a generous portion. Merci Beaucoup is warm and welcoming. It has that relaxed, neighborhood feel, and the staff are super friendly and attentive.

Merci Beaucoup is amazing. Their Bahn Mi has the most incredible authentic French bread sourced locally from La Baguette. ???????? We've been picking up sandwiches from here for years but today is the first time we've had the chance to eat in. Eating the Bahn Mi baguette fresh is seriously next level! Probably the most perfect BM baguette I've ever experienced. Add to that the incredibly friendly staff and chill atmosphere amid the bustle of the Drive and this place is truly a gem. Thanks so much to James, Nayeong, and Sandy for making us feel so welcome! Highly Recommended

This is my favourite Vietnamese spot in the city. I frequent the place and it's 100% of the time the best broth and sauce, the freshest ingredients, and perfectly cooked rice and noodles. Good is noticeably higher quality than any other spot I've tried it town (and I've tried many). Family owned spot and no fail consistent quality. I've done dine-in, take-out, and delivery from here and it's always good.
